In this study, the effect of transportation on the malondialdehyde (MDA) levels in the blood, muscle, liver and kidney of rainbow trout fries were investigated. The rainbow trout fries obtained from Keban Rainbow trout Ltd. (average weight of 40.5±0.5 g and average length of 15.6±0.13 cm) were transported to the Keban Aquaculture Facilities of General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works. MDA level was measured in blood, muscle, liver and kidney sampled at arrival (t-0), 6 h (t-6) and 12 h (t-12) after transportation. As control, MDA level was determined in un-transported fish.
