The territorial separatism, we refer below, may be saw as an illegitimate movement, as well legitimate in some cases. Separatist movement will always be illegitimate for the state on which territory it is happening in contradiction with the state’s official legislation. The issue consists in the state power’s legality and the compliance of its policy with law and morality principles. Thus, the separatism may, morally, be legitimate and commiserate poor nations dominated by strong nations, and to justify itself as an adequate reaction to the state’s actions through the realization of the historical right to self determination.
