The article reveals the essence and content of the commodity innovation policy of a modern enterprise and identifies features of its major activities. The methodical bases for selecting priority areas of its implementation with taking into account external and internal environment of innovation are developed. The approaches to the management of formalized procedures for innovative products throughout their life cycle are offered.
