This paper explores the usefulness of spatial centrality measures (traditionally used in urban environments) in the context of rural landscapes. Specifically, measures of reach, closeness, betweenness and straightness have been calculated on the road network of the Vega de Granada, considering this road network as a primal graph. The results show novel centrality maps in which patterns can be distinguished, being of interest for the interpretation of structural and functional aspects of the study area.
