MEС HANOС HEMICAL SPECIFICITY OF METALS POLISHING WITH TRIBOCHEMICAL ACTIVE ABRASIVE MATERIALS

Abstract

Meсhanoсhemical concept is proposed as a tribochemical process of metals polishing consisting of two stages: the first oxides films formation on metal surface by friction, the second stage of activation is linked to the destruction and removal of film. It is shown that the process of defining the quality of polishing metals, it is the process of formation of oxide film on the surface and its remove.
