SPECIFICITY OF MIDDLE CLASS FORMATION IN MODERN RUSSIA

Abstract

The paper deals with specifics of middle class formation in the modern world and Russian society. The authors reveal the new virtual-real nature of middle class genesis. It is emphasized that in the context of global information, an increasingly important trend in the development of social stratification is the genesis and growth of cognitariat in the overall structure of the middle class.
