Effects of mobile phone radiation

Abstract

This paper points out the effects of mobile phone radiation on a human organism. The existing standards are based on electromagnetic field thermal effects on a human organism. The permissible values from the standards have been compared with the calculation results concerning field intensity measured field values and experimental data from literature. This served as a base for the determination of the antenna safety distance. Besides the thermal effect, there is interference as well as homeopathic effect whose influence has not been investigated yet. Some advice on using mobile phones are given in order to reduce harmful radiation.
