Doi: 10.5902/2179769213188 Aim: to carry out a theoretical essay about the philosophical interface of Watson’s transpersonal caring-healing and the products of the “healing architecture” provided by nursing protocols. Method: theoretical essay guided by the research question: which is the philosophical interface of Watson’s transpersonal caring-healing and the products of the “healing architecture” provided by nursing protocols? Results: we performed a reflexive analysis of seven studies, which enabled to weave philosophical considerations of two axes: transpersonal caring-healing and nursing protocols, and “from the text to the borders”: (de) construct nursing practices based on nursing protocols. Final considerations: we hope to expand the philosophical discussions about the theme, as well as encourage the use of nursing protocols as a paradigmatic transformation tool of nursing care.
