The developmental stages of some blue butterflies (Lepidoptera: Lycaenidae) of Russian South. Part V

Abstract

The authors studied the developmental stages of eight species of blue butterflies (Lycaenidae) that inhabit the south of European part of Russia (Rostov Region, Black Sea coast and the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range): Thecla betulae (Linnaeus, 1758), Satyrium pruni (Linnaeus, 1758), Satyrium acaciae (Fabricius, 1787), Callophrys rubi (Linnaeus, 1758), Tomares callimachus (Eversmann, 1848), Lycaena helle (Denis et Schiffermuller, 1775).
