A notificação compulsória da violência contra crianças e adolescentes e seus desdobramentos via Conselho Tutelar

Abstract

This article considers the potential for mobilizing the network via compulsory notification instrument on violence against children and adolescents in Curitiba/PR, Brazil. Data are the result of a field research that included the analysis of notification forms, participant observation in meetings of the local safety net and interviews with tutelary counselors. The results showed that, in Curitiba, the notification process is well consolidated: it is considered that the good articulation between the Guardianship Council and the safety net contributes to this process. However, like any other process under development, the work faces challenges: one of them is to requalify the identity of the Guardianship Council associated with the disciplining of families
