Comparison and modelling of neutral operating modes in 6-35 kV distribution networks
Abstract
The article discusses the issues of modeling and analysis of operating modes of a distribution network with a voltage of 6–35 kV with an isolated and compensated neutral. An analysis of the influence of various types of neutral operation was carried out. It has been shown that the use of a compensated neutral can reduce overvoltage and capacitive currents, and increase system stability. Modeling of network operating modes was carried out using modern software systems. Based on the analysis, solutions were proposed to optimize networks and improve their operational characteristics.
