Narender Mehta (b. 1965 at Gurgaon, Haryana) is a prolific artist, curator and teacher who loves to create serene works with the help of unusual colours, lines and shadows which, combined together, impress viewers with a higher reality, sometimes transcendental, emerging from the canvas. It is evident from his works that the artist’s inspiration is purely aesthetic and free from political bias. His fascination with Buddha clearly indicates his devotion to the search for Bodhi or Enlightenment through his art.
