This article deals with creativity in teaching German as a foreign language. There are some notions concerning learner variables, the profile of teacher’s requirements, as well as teaching materials and teaching environment. The article shows some specific examples of creative work in teaching German and some recommended models. It is obvious that language teaching not only refers to terminological units and grammar structures, but it is also organized in an interesting and varied way.
