Grassroots and blue skies lead to greener landscapes

Abstract

The biopharmaceutical industry has a noble mission: to treat and cure disease. However, the industry needs to function in a sustainable way, both for its own future and that of the planet. Genentech and its parent company, Roche, take seriously any opportunities to better provide for patients while also addressing the impact its operations have on employees, communities, and the environment. Employee grassroots efforts are combined with corporate initiatives and support, aiming to provide better outcomes for all.
