Abstract

The Author analyses the issues of equity and justice stemming from the work of Thomas Nagel and John Rawls. Particular attention is paid to the problem of the effectiveness of human rights and social rights, in order to stress the paradigm of justice among the nations in the ethical and the political debate. The ultimate goal is to pave the way for a sustainable development aimed at pursuing global justice and equity.
