This work presents an ongoing research of Professional Master's Degree that studies the active methodologies used at the Instituto Federal Sudeste de Minas Gerais, Campus Muriaé. This campus has a group of studies on methodologies made up of teachers and a pedagogue (technical-administrative), whose purpose is to support their practices. The main question of the research is to know how the active methodologies used by the professors of the Instituto Federal Sudeste de Minas Gerais, Campus Muriaé have contributed to the polytechnic training of students. The purpose of this study is to analyze the teaching practices of teachers who use active methodologies in the polytechnic training of students in the technical courses at Campus Muriaé. In order to achieve this goal, a narrative research was chosen within the qualitative approach. In this way, it is intended to understand the perspectives of teachers, through their narratives, regarding the use of active methodologies in the context of Professional and Technological Education.
