Finansowanie obszarów prawnie chronionych na przykładzie Białowieskiego Parku Narodowego

Abstract

The main goal of the article is to evaluate the financing system of national parks in Poland in 2014-2016 on the example of Białowieża National Park. In the analyzed period about 51% of total revenues of Białowieża National Park were subsidies from the state budget. It can be assumed that current state budget condition will not allow increasing the subsidies for the Polish national parks in the future. The analysis positively verified the hypothesis that direction of development of the Polish national parks financing system is the necessity of supplementing government subsidies with other sources of financing.
