The tutorial process of research for postgraduate, particularly master's programmes and studies at a distance, is conceived as a curriculum strategy of accompaniment to the student, during the first three semesters, in the elaboration of their degree work. The perspective taken in the present proposal is based epistemologically as self-formative and self-managed based on generic processes of research: problematization, theorizing and instrumentation, allowing in turn, pass through different stages of understanding and knowledge construction. Methodologically there are teaching strategies - motivational, cognitive and metacognoscitivas - and evaluation strategies - training and sumativas-, encouraging reflection and student participation, aimed at investigative learning in collaboration with peers and the facilitator of the mentorship, while he builds his own work. This proposition summarizes the contributions of the theses of the authors, whose objects and fields are confined to the formation and its dynamics in distance education.
