[english] How is digital reading and learning accepted among the students of the branch library of medicine of the University of Münster? First results of a survey among 647 students show that the relation to printed books remained strong. Only 2 students did not lend out any printed textbook. On the contrary, 92% used printed textbooks often or always for learning purposes. Only one in 33 users was not satisfied by the printed textbooks. Contentment with the multiple choice tool was just as great. 3 of 4 students (73%) were satisfied or very satisfied with e-books. The e-book has become a constant and reliable companion of studies for (almost) half of the population. But nevertheless, the printed textbook is the most attractive learning medium for all semesters and can thus be referred as a gold standard.
