O que resta do agente social?: a análise sociológica frente à exemplaridade biográfica e à diminuição de si What's left of the social agent?: sociological analysis in face of biographical exemplarity and self-diminution

Abstract

Este artigo pretende examinar conjuntamente duas questões. A primeira se refere aos usos da biografia nas ciências sociais. A segunda diz respeito à determinação sociológica da noção de ator. Trata-se, de um lado, do problema do estatuto da experiência singular na história ou na sociologia e, de outro, do estatuto do ator num contexto analítico caracterizado pela pluralidade das cenas sociais.This paper examines two questions conjointly. The first refers to the uses of biography in social sciences. The second deals with the sociological determination of the notion of actor. On the one hand, it is a question of the statute of the unique experience in history or sociology, and on the other of the statute of the actor in an analytical context, characterized by the plurality of social scenes.
