The objective of this work is to identify the Epistemological Profile of the Social Representation about the concept of time held by student teachers at Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE). In relation to the Profile, we applied the theory of Bachelard and the epistemology of time of Martins, while in relation to Social Representation we applied the theory of Moscovici. The methodology used in this work was based on Abric¿s Central Core Theory. The most striking characteristics of the central core of time's epistemological profile were identified through data analysis, based on student teachers' social representation, in which we perceived traces of naive realism to empiricism.
