Top trekking region of Nepal, the Annapurna area offers nowadays a mutating touristic system – diversification of international clients and of the touristic practices, growth of internal tourism, fast extension of road network, affirmation of the organizing role of Pokhara. Patrimonial ressources employed by the touristic activity tend towards an integration of local cultures, architecture, or the quality of agricultural products and local culinary traditions. Paradoxically, it is not the case about agricultural components of rural landscapes, which are affected by the decline due to massive young mens’ work outmigration. This effort to promote mountain territories brings into play many actors, and creates several forms of arrangement. Through the prism of this little used notion in geography, this article analyses the way actors are dealing with each other to take charge, individually or/and collectively, of this touristic development. It also shows that these reconfigurations of the touristic system and of the rural space, because of the networks created by those arrangements, are creating new opportunities for some actors, as much as they strengthen the inter-sectional disparities within the village society.
