V.N. Greze (1915-1988) is a famous hydrobiologist and a member of Academy of Sciences of Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. This article describes a period of his work from 1939 to 1957 in Siberian Branch of the Institute of Fresh Water Fisheries in Krasnoyarsk
