Clinical Course and Morphological Features of Chronic Gastritis in Patients with the Most Common Gastroenterological Pathology
Abstract
The article deals with the features of clinical course and morphological state of gastric mucosa in patients with the most common gastroenterological diseases, namely: gallbladder and biliary tract diseases, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, functional dyspepsia and duodenal ulcer. It is found that epigastric pain was more often revealed in patients with gallbladder, biliary tract diseases and functional dyspepsia patients; pain in the right and left hypochondrium was more often detected in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Inflammation and activity of the antral gastritis were significantly more common in patients with duodenal ulcer. Atrophy, metaplasia and dysplasia of gastric mucosa were more significant in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
