Producția şi calitatea soiului de grâu comun de toamnă Blagodarka Odesskaya în experiențe polifactoriale
Abstract
The objective of this paper was to analyze the crop yield of the common winter wheat variety „Blagodarka Odesskaya” in relation to three factors: sowing date, sowing rates and forerunner crops (pea for seeds, sunflower and maize for grain). Under the conditions of the agricultural year 2017/2018 the forerunner pea crop (grown for split peas) was found to be more beneficial than sunflower and maize for grain and it ensured the highest wheat yield (6178.8 kg/ha) due to more favorable conditions for plant growth and development. The yield of wheat kernels after the forerunner sunflower crop constituted 3511.9 kg/ha and after maize for grain – 3780.8 kg/ha or respectively by 2666.9 kg/ha and 2398.0 kg/ha less. By its protein and gluten content the obtained wheat grain belongs to class B (precious wheat). Strong wheat with a protein content of over 14% was obtained after pea for seeds at the sowing rates of 6.0 million viable seeds per hectare when sowing was done at admissible time.
