To the question of a nomination of "the enchanted wanderer" in N.S. Leskov's works in 70s

Abstract

The article examines the problem of the nomination "the enchanted wanderer" in the context of hagiographical interpretation of the works created by N. S. Leskov in the 70s. The most famous of the wanderers and righteous men of Leskov was - "The Enchanted Wanderer" - о. Izmail. "Strangeness" as a synonym for "capacity for spiritual transformation" is emphasized by the author in the title of the work.
