The selection of talents for Baseball Catchers

Abstract

The present investigation introduces a system of exercises for the selection of possible talents for catchers in baseball in the community El Caribe of the municipality of Guantánamo, based in actions with methodological and coherent character for attaining the proposed objective. Scientific methods of different levels were applied in the study, specially observation and interview, the initial diagnosis allowed the detection of the scientific problem, and it was verified specifically the non-existence of innovative activities for this area of Baseball that they do not appear in the Training Program for the Sportsman or any other documentation necessary for the work in the sports area. The research results were verified, and it was proven the feasibility of the proposal, and approved by specialists to be introduced in the community's social practice.
