The objective of this work is to identify market failures and the patterns that stipulate sale-purchase prices in views of determining their influence on the gross commercialization margin (gcm) in the schema of traditional bovine trade for meat supply in the Papaloapan region. The prices are determined in an empiric and subjective manner, since the ability of the agents to negotiate and fix the price is determining. What is more, for every kilo of meat paid by the consumer, the intermediaries take the most gcm.
