Papillary thyroid microcarcinoma may develop cervical lymph node metastasis, which is especially important for early diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of PTMC. High-frequency ultrasound, ultrasonography, ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration biopsy, and genetic testing have been applied to the diagnosis of PTMC, which has continuously improved the detection rate of PTMC. In recent years, thermal ablation has been applied to the treatment of tumors due to its advantages of safety, high efficiency, low trauma and fast post-operative recovery and has achieved good results.
