El rol de la construcción en el aprendizaje del dibujo

Abstract

Los saberes técnicos requieren visualizar y construir formas tridimensionales a partir de información bidimensional y, recíprocamente, poder presentar el mundo tridimensional en dos dimensiones, lo que constituye la habilidad gráfica. Se presentan los resultados de una investigación empírica en una muestra de 392 ingresantes a las carreras de la Facultad de Arquitectura, Diseño y Urbanismo de la Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina), cuyos objetivos fueron: a) evaluar las posibles diferencias entre las tareas de reconocimiento y las que requieren restitución/construcción y b) evaluar posibles diferencias entre las tareas que requieren hallar las correspondencias entre la presentación de diversas vistas y sus correspondientes volúmenes y su inversa, entre la representación tridimensional y la bidimensional. The paper reports the results of an empirical study of a sample made up of 392 students newly admitted to the University of Buenos Aires Architecture, Design and Urban Planning School. It seeks to ascertain possible differences between the recognition and restitution/construction tasks, as well as between those that involve finding the correspondence between surface area and volume and, conversely, between three-dimensional and two-dimensional representation, on the other.
