This article recalls with Miguel Torga, Tua Valley, object and context of the cross-cutting approach that makes the times and places of its century-old line and aims to discuss the interrelation – environmental diversity / local history as sociotechnical construction literarily reconfigured. It is a dialogical analysis to literary corpus (45 texts in various genres of 24 authors) of «Tua» European Literature: valley, river and railway / Otilia Lage; Eduardo Beira. 1.ª ed. 2013, 2.ª ed., 2014 (Project FOZTUA, 2011-2016), through representative social representations and logics of identity matrix, collective memory and cultural heritage of the region, the end of eight to contemporaneity. Concludes the literature of relief as a source of environmental history, expansion of classical history, and relevance of «local documentary testimony» evidence that all measures are connected to local networks and global on additions effects of local measures.
