INTERACTION BEWTEEN MIGRANTS AND HOST COMMUNITY IN STAVROPOL REGION: MUTUAL ADJUSTMENT FACTORS

Abstract

The item presents the results of a quality research into the ideas prevalent among migrants (peoples of the North Caucasus) and among the hosting community (ethnic Russians) concerning the issues related to migration and the factors responsible for mutual adjustment. The analysis serves basis for detecting the areas of the largest incompatibility, which may lie in the core of intercultural issues.
