Same procedure as every year: Eine digitale Krankenhausbibliothek in der Corona-Krise

Abstract

The Helios Library takes a look at one year of corona. What has changed, what has stayed the same? The concept and portfolio of the library, which became an online library 20 years ago, has changed little in this challenging year. In contrast, the way the team works has changed a lot. The article explains which changes the library team had to adapt to, which new formats were developed and where there is still room for improvement. Points such as infrastructure and communication channels are shown. The level of the library-user-relationship is also highlighted and contextualized. Corona has contributed to the fact that after 20 years the transformation to an online library has been raised to a new level and digitization is lived by the whole team now.
