Chinese «Soft Power» in the Era of Xi Jinping

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the Chinese "soft power" in the era of Xi Jinping. The analysis based on official speeches made by political leaders of China and publications. The focus is on the progressive development of the "soft power" notion as an effective instrument of internal politics. In the article, an unorthodox interpretation of soft power given for the first time on the example of one particular state considered.
