Agroturystyka w gospodarce obszarów wiejskich na przykładzie powiatu piotrkowskiego

Abstract

The rural areas need impulses to develop and enrich their economic fabric. One of the ways of such a development, closely related to rural areas, is agritourism. The aim of the study is to indify elements of the offer that help the rural community to effectively develop agritourism and the opportunities for the development of this form of entrepreneurship .The research was based on a literature review and analysis of materials on agritourism in the Piotrków districtderived from secondary sources. The obtained results confirm that unfavourable natural conditions significantly limit the possibilities of agritourism development on a local scale. Maintaining even a slight economic role of agritourism in the rural areas requires the improvement of services provided by agritourism farms.
