Las elecciones en los centros urbanos y rurales de la provincia de Cartagena, 1830-1840

Abstract

This paper analyzes the voting records of various parishes in the province of Cartagena during the 1830 and examines the differences in electoral behavior by the inhabitants of the province. The hipothesis that we hold is that rural populations had greater control of the electorate than in urban areas.
