This research was conducted at Universidade Estadual Paulista, Campus of Presidente Prudente, and was supported by FAPESP. The aim of this study was to analyze how the public sees the program frequenter on central themes such as violence, improving education and school and community approach in relation to geographic location of the school within a range of social exclusion. The methodology used was based on a quantitative model of non-experimental, with data analysis using the nonparametric Kruskal-Wallis test. The locus of the study was the city Presidente Prudente, São Paulo, Brazil, based on four state schools placed in different areas of the city. It was found that the mean values of the responses vary according to geographical position, but statistically significant difference between respondents and regions is confirmed only in the item analysis on the presence of violence in and around schools.
