Osteomuscular disorders in a manufacturing petrochemical factory. Bogotá, 2003
Abstract
This study characterize osteomuscular disorderin 300 patients who work in operative fields in apetrochemistry industry factory, in the city ofBogotá. Methodology: This study is crosssectional clinical charts were reviewed by list.The following instruments were applied: (a)Written questions to determine the individualconditions and working conditions of thispopulation in relation to osteomusculardisorders, and (b) an instrument to qualify therisk according to physical activity. Results: 92workers who had osteomuscular disorders wereidentifiedPoint prevalence of 30.7% of osteomusculardisorders was found, being the highest rate theprocess field with a percentage of 38.3%.Conclusion: It is interesting the fact that thereare more alterations in the process area, eventhough the area which the most workers withosteomuscular disorders is the assemble area
