Virtualization of the Image in the Screen Painting Technology
Abstract
The purpose of the work is to explore the virtualization process of images in modern audiovisual arts and their gradual evolution in the technology of screen painting. The methodology of the research consists in analyzing the virtualization technologies of images in their technological and aesthetic aspects. The scientific novelty of the work is that for the first time in the scientific discourse the concept of “virtualization of the image” is introduced, and also it is considered in detail as this process takes place in modern audiovisual arts. Conclusions. Today, cinematographers have been able to work with a virtual image, creating a visual series of the film using the new technologies of screen painting. These technologies also began to be used in the atrical productions, reality shows, and video installations with the use of various film and video projection equipment. Thus, the viewer, who sees the image on the screen practically cannot already distinguish actually captured objects from the generated by a computer. Such sophisticated on-screen virtual reality is a fertile environment for both technological and aesthetic quest for artists.
