The ratio of diffusive and ballistic components has been analyzed of a contact electrical resistance as well as a role of the micro- and nanoroughness of contact surfaces in a generation of an electrical contact resistance and its components. In a contact of nanoroughness asperities a ballistic component of a resistance dominates, whereas in a contact of microroughness asperities a diffusive one.
