Abstract
Transcription is a widely spread creative process in musical art, determined by the need to complete the repertoire, by the desire of musicians to perform on their instruments well- known and valuable creations written in the original for different instruments. Transcription, which has become, in the course of time a real art, is used especially to complete the repertoire for the accordion. As an accordionist, professor and transcription writer, the author of the article has made the transcription of the well-known violin creation – the Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso for violin and orchestra by the French composer Camile Saint-Saëns. The article is dedicated to the analysis of the peculiarities of its transcription.
