Patrimony and Fight of Senses in the Capital District (Bogotá)
Abstract
This article investigates what is patrimony, how is configured and which are its classifications or taxonomies, emphasizing in its discursive constructions, its international instruments —emanated from “new centers of normative production”—, their actors, and the measures —specially legislative— that tend to agency an institutionalization process, where without doubt, the patrimony is explained as legitimation space, authority and truth that produces, controls and administers the social memory. The work is centered in the analysis of what has happened in Bogotá (Colombia), in the last years, and works like a cartography of the diverse motives that end up making possible the institutionalization and professionalization of the patrimony and its becoming part of a discursive construction of recent incorporation.
