Explanation & Evaluation of Knowledge Sharing Promotion Pattern in Communities of Practice
Abstract
Every organization is an enormous treasure of knowledge and most of the time this valuable capital that could be lead to the development of creativity and innovation is neglected. In this research we used Nahapiet & Goushal Social capital theory.In this theory they mentiond tree dimensions for social capital,involve structural,relational & cognitive.In recent years the concept of communities of practice as one of the most effective tools,for knowledge sharing using organization experience and knowledge,has developed.This research investigates the role of organizational social capital on knowledge sharing in communities of practice and the impact of motivation factors such as reputation,altruism,common interests and etc. on knowledge sharing in the communities of practice.finding shows significant and positive impact between that increase of organizational social capital and social interactions on knowledge sharing in communities of practice.When the study comes to the conclusion individual factors information shows that: Shared interest and reputation are most effective on knowledge sharing than altruism.
