Abstract

The article deals with issues related to international cooperation in the field of medical rescue in the cross-border zgorzelecki region. It presents the system of State Medical Rescue in Poland and the characteristics of basic legal acts concerning this issue. In brief, the characteristics of this area are presented, taking into account elements essential for crisis management. The own research presents the results of the survey, interviews with experts and case study. The conclusions and recommendations present the propositions of improvement of the analyzed system.
