Study of direct and indirect effect of theoretical intelligence upon pedagogical intelligence in teacher training center of Iran

 The Purpose of this research was to study the direct and indirect effect of theoretical intelligence upon educational intelligence in teacher training centers. Statistical population of the study was all instructors at teacher training centers of Iran in academic year of 2008-2009, which 200 among them were selected randomly as sample. Face and content validity of research instrument were verified by experts and construct validity through factor analysis. Reliability coefficient of questionnaire for theoretical intelligence, systematic intelligence, transactional intelligence, and educational intelligence were calculated at 086, 083, 087 and 086 respectively. Research findings shoed that theoretical, intelligence has direct effect (B=.4) and indirect effect (.22) upon educational intelligence (P=.000). Also, findings showed that theoretical, systematic and transactional intelligence have direct effect on educational intelligence (P=0.000).
