Some questions connected to the history of Niška diocese from the beginning of the 20th century until the creation of Bulgarian exarchate in the middle of 19th century

Abstract

The authors who have written in the last hundred years on the bishops of Niš, in this period they have used mostly data from the two published lists. It is not difficult to prove they are neither accurate nor complete so that with this paper we are trying to amend them as much as possible. In order to be able to do that, we have to give some basic data for the archbishops of Niš, and bishops from earlier period of Osman's rule since they have not been so far given to any full extent.
