The objective of this work was to evaluate the effects of the phosphorus on corn, comparing the fertilizer organomineral Biofós with the Superfosfato Simples. The experiment was house vegetation of Universidade do Oeste Paulista. The experimental design was randomized blocks with nine treatments and four replicates with four phosphorus rates (61.1, 122.2, 244.4 and 366.6 mg of SPS per dm3 soil) and four doses of fertilizer organomineral Biofós (277.8, 555.5, 1111.0 and 1666.6 mg.dm3 solo), plus a control with no fertilization. Forty-eight days after the planting took place the basal cut for the dry matter determination. It was observed that the phosphorus fertlization guaranteed larger development of the plant and larger production of dry matter, reaffirming the importance of the phosphorus for won of productivity on the corn, and that Biofós can be used as alternative to the mineral fertilizer, since your revenue was so effective with relationship to Superfosfato Simples, so much in the production of dry matter, as in the development of the plant.
