Do contemporâneo: o tempo na história do presente
Abstract
The present paper works time concept from the perspective of present’s history from Michel Foucault. It probes and defines the contemporarity’s concept, confront it with other concepts like modernity, present, actuality. It presents the specificity of the contemporary time: its connection with the coexistence of several virtual temporalities that make themselves actual in a hybrid present and always deconstructed by its historicity perception. It tries to demonstrate the importance of the contemporary conception as definition as a temporal mode, for the actual human science practices now that these sciences face themselves with the conscience of the historical construction of theirs objects, making necessary the use of methods like the one defined by the foucaultiane genealogy.
