La región en la nueva historiografía méxicana

Abstract

Toda historia acontece en un espacio geográfico. La historia regional privilegia el lugar donde acontece un movimiento y lo construye; su enfoque es complejo y ha enriquecido la historia nacional develando acciones y estableciendo diversos vínculos que incluyen aún aspectos del ámbito internacional. El enfoque de la historia regional ha mostrado diversidad de hechos poco conocidos por la historiografía mexicana como los casos que se muestran aquí; por ejemplo, la revuelta de Catarino E. Garza y el movimiento encabezado por Higino Tanguma Gutiérrez, localizados en el territorio de Tamaulipas durante el Porfiriato que aprovecharon a su favor la proximidad con Texas; ya en la Posrevolución se dio el movimiento encabezado por Primo Tapia de la Cruz en Michoacán .En los tres casos, el trabajo resalta las conexiones de los líderes con el sur de los Estados Unidos como referencias para sus iniciativas políticas. The Region in the New Mexican Historiography Abstract The entire history takes place in a geographical area. Regional history favors where movement occurs and builds; their approach is complex and enriched the national history unfolding actions and establishing links still include various aspects of international scope. The focus of the regional history has shown diversity of little known facts by Mexican historiography as the cases shown here; for example, the revolt of Catarino E.
