Improved morphological filtering method for interferograms
Abstract
This study proposes an improved interferogram filtering method with mathematical morphology. The algorithm firstly converts the interferogram in cosine and sine parts to preserve the continuity of phases, then adopts the improved adaptive line structure elements to run reconstruction process on two parts based on grey scale morphological opening and closing operations. In addition combine the two filtered parts to get the wrapped phases. Simulated and real-data experiments show that the proposed algorithm is more robust in filtering compared with other algorithms referred in this study.
